One of the challenges I've faced while dating has to do with my sexuality. It's crazy that something as natural as sexuality could potentially be an issue, but it is what it is.
Like many little girls, I used to believe in soulmates. Mostly because of stories like Cinderella and The Little Mermaid which taught me that not only did Prince Charming exist, but that he was destined to find me. And then, of course, we'd live happily ever after.
This guy was an ideal combination of my fantasies and my dealbreakers. Enough to make me want him bad, but too much of what I don’t want to keep me from wanting more.
Hereditary is my favorite horror film to date. So you can imagine my excitement when I found out that writer/director Ari Aster had created another could-be (hopefully will be) masterpiece.
